Premium Plus The Premium Plus was the first model released by Microbee Technology after the relaunch of the famous Microbee brand. Featuring the traditional Microbee 64 key keyboard layout & original Premium series case, the Premium Plus added many new features including Floppy disk emulation and operation from SDcard, Dual processor design and extra memory. It was a limited edition of 120 units which sold out within a few months. A bonus release of 8 units (after we found another 8 case sets in our stock) sold out quickly as well. 256TC-SE (Special Edition) Once again, a limited release (of 8 units), but fully built & tested. The 256TC-SE has the same hardware internally as the Premium Plus, but uses original 256TC keyboards and is housed in the same case as the 256TC / Teleterm / Matilda. Here are the specifications for both models : Dual Microprocessors - * Z80 microprocessor @ 3.375Mhz * Coldfire V2 (MCF52259) @ 80Mhz^ 2 Mb Ram (1Mb shared space, 1Mb exclusive to the Coldfire processor ) 32k PCG Ram, 2K Color Ram, 2K Attribute ram, 4K font rom Microbee standard DB15 Parallel port, Microbee standard DB25 Serial port, Second serial port for up to 115k baud^, Physical Floppy disk interface (option for Premium Plus), including 1 x 3.5” drive & supporting up to 2 floppy drives, SD Card interface for file storage, with Floppy Disk emulation in ‘Z80’ mode status indicator LED for SD activity^. Ethernet Network port (10/100) including status indicator LEDs for Link Valid & Speed^. Monochrome composite Video out, Color TTL video (to CGA monitor or VGA Video converter) Built in software : Disk boot prom, Self Test, Machine Langauge Monitor. ^ indicates functionality / feature Other software on SDcard : uCLinux, is part of the new coreboard design.
