Sorry for the delay in getting you the pictures of the floppy file server innards.
Here they are:
This one only has a 50Way connection on the FS motherboard, and it daisy-chains to the floppy disk controller board.
I'll check out the pinout of the version with the 40 & 50 way on it as time permits.
