Am a 40 year old IT professional that began a life long journey with computers starting with the Microbee.
Was a young lad when my Dad bought a Microbee and later built a cardboard topped floppy drive with his enthusiast mate in the 80s. I remember playing games as much as my Dad would let me, the two ones I remember most were Merlin (text adventure) and Emu Joust.
I never finished Merlin and that is the reason that brought me here really the enduring memory of that, probably being too young to understand it but drawing up a 64x64 grid (not sure on that detail) to track our movement.
I work in IT but am not much of a coder or enthusiast just a former young man who loved games and this system began my journey.
