Digital signal processing techniques are used to perform all major functions such as modulation, demodulation and filtering. This eliminates the need for analog filters by integrating on-board A/D and D/A converters and a digital signal processor with a 24K ROM and 1.3K RAM to perform the digital fi1tering. This means a modem that is so much more reliable, particularly on poor phone lines.
So in the Vintage Repository in the Avtek_multimodem folder we placed
