Thanks to stauros for making available 3 x 1988 Your Computer magazines that have been missing. All had the Microbee File section that was extracted, cleaned and converted to searchable PDF's as usual. They were also searched for other relevant vintage articles.
Microbee File May 1988 talks about the Herd software from Hawkesbury Software. The program is menu driven which allows one to logically progress through the inbuilt introduction, start a game or resume from a previously saved position. Unfortunately, we dont have this software, can anyone help there ?
Microbee File June 1988 talks about Microbee moving into MS-DOS with the Mitac Portable Computer and played with Algebra Graf(x) and Quizmaster MS-DOS software.
Microbee File October 1988 interviews the new owners on Microbee Systems, Serafino and Giuseppe (Joe) De Simone who took control in May this year [1988].
Also found was a New Products mention of Ways We Were and Poetry Machine educational programs for the Microbee from L Boughton. We have both of these in the Repository, so check 'em out.
An advert for Book-Mate Accounting Software for the Microbee as well as MS-DOS computers, from Ann Court Computer Services. Also runs on the BeeNet and Starnet. Not in the Repository, can anyone help there ?
Another New Products mentioned was the Terran T-20 with its 80286 CPU.
So in the Public Repository in the Magazines\Your_Computer\1988 folder we placed
microbee_file_yc_88_05.pdf
microbee_file_yc_88_06.pdf
microbee_file_yc_88_10.pdf
