Thanks to digitalker for supplying working copies of The Wizard's Castle tapes for the Sorcerer. These were saved out of a Sorcerer to a digital recorder and save as WAV tapes. Both 300 baud and 1200 baud versions were saved. Existing copies on the internet have errors and will not load. These files have been tested by loading back into a real Sorcerer and into MAME emulator without any problems. It was written by Joseph R Power and originally released as a program listing in the Recreational Computer magazine July/August 1980. This listing and its manual is included.
Also provided were tapes, both 300 baud and 1200 baud versions, of Curve Plotting as released as a listing in Electronics Australia February 1981 by Daniel Wong. Again. We already have a copy of the article in the Magazines\Electronics_Australia folder.
Touch-Type-Tutor 1 and 2 tapes were also provided as well as a scan of its manual (updates current copy). Written by Roy Mercer and released by System Software in Western Australia. Again, both 300 baud and 1200 baud versions were provided.
All the WAV files were down-sampled from their original 48khz recording down to 22khz and saved as 8bit WAV files. All have been tested to load error free into a Sorcerer as well as the MAME emulator.
So in the Vintage Repository in the Exidy_Sorcerer\Software\Tapes folder we placed
the_wizards_castle_basic_1200b.wav
