From my recent purchase of Microbee material there two original games disks from Mytek, these being CHOPPER and STAR STRIKER. Both were standard Microbee 5.25" DS40 disks, bootable but were copy protected and imaged 100% error free using my Floppyio unit. To bypass the copy protection only one byte had to be changed, the byte at 0x210 offset changed from 50h to 54h on both disks. These are not standard CP/M disks.
While we have the 2 games already in the repository (arcade_2_ss80.dsk) these are original disks.
CHOPPER
Your mission is to fly a Chopper over enemy lines, rescue
stranded allies and deliver them back to safety. Flying skill
and concentration are paramount for the enemy will go to
any length to halt your efforts.
STAR STRIKER
BE A JEDI!!
The Empire is in shambles after losing the Death
Star to the Rebel’s forces. Darth Vader, who
miraculously escaped destruction, is busy
gathering together a small army.
Your mission is to halt his progress.
The 2 manuals are double sided A5 cards, as usual. We have very poor copies of both currently in the Repository so these 600dpi quality scan replace them. The labels of the disks were also scanned.
So in the MbeeTeck repository in the Microbee/Software/Games folder we placed
chopper_ds40.dsk
star_striker_ds40.dsk
mytek_chopper.pdf <--- these updated in Documentation/Manuals/Games folder
mytek_star_striker.pdf
