The EDUC-8 Construction Manual contains all the pages of the EDUC-8 articles that appeared in Electronics Australia magazine starting in August 1974 issue and continued Monthly. There is also some extras. Some of the pages were unreadable in our current original copy, so these have been updated with parts from original EA magazines scans available from archive.org. Some whole pages replaced, some just parts, so now 100% readable.
The contents of the manual is :-
1. Introduction to the EDUC-8 project
2. How the basic machine works
3. Starting construction
4. Adding the next three sections
5. Getting the basic machine going
6. Adding the IOT interface and two simple peripheral devices
7. Basic programming contests
8. Interfacing for punched paper tape
9. Interfacing for the Phillips 60SR printer
10. A full ASCII-type input Keyboard unit
11. A "music box" cutout unit
12. Interfacing for teleprinters and magnetic tape
13. Where to go from here with your EDUC-8
Also, the file containing the PCB artwork (originally a PhotoShop file) has been saved out as 10 Indvidual PNG files for easier access. These and a whole lot of other EDUC-8 info which is actively updated is at http://www.sworld.com.au/steven/educ-8/
So in the Vintage Repository in the EDUC-8 folder we replaced
