This Microbee disk had been in my collection for some time but was not able to get an error free image. Recently I removed the disk platter from its jacket, thoroughly scrubbed both sides with a detergent solution, then rinsed and dried and slipped it back into its jacket. The disk then imaged 100% error free and was a standard auto-booting ds40 disk with no copy protection.
The disk boots to a Basic Menu making for easy selection of the 6 programs possible. All the educational games are Monster related and written by Cheryl Goding in 1988 and distributed via Bendata. The programs vary from Mini Adventures to Monstrously Marvellous Maths programs. Good use of simple graphics and colour. The programs are :-
A. Monstermind
B. Monster Maze
C. Scallywag!
D. Crown of Rastalon
E. Sword of Rastalon
F. Tame the Dragon
This disk complements our existing cheryl_goding_demo_disk_ds40.dsk
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Education folder we placed
cheryl_goding_monster_pack_ds40.dsk
