Thanks to Jeremybh1 for making a scanned copy available. After a good cleanup, de-skew and OCR, we now have a good searchable PDF. It's A4 in size and 24 pages long.
The Microbee was introduced in Feb 1982 via the Your Computer magazine, which came with an insert detailing the Microbee and a simple construction procedure. On delivery of your Kit you also received this detailed construction manual and this was the first issue. It also referenced the mainboard as 1248 Rev D. This mainboard has not been sighted yet, if anyone has an original kit Microbee with an all white keyboard, we would love to hear from you. Most kits had a Rev F mainboard which was also used in the first factory assembled Microbees.
Most of the diagrams in this issue are hand drawn and Fig. 1 (Power supply diagram) is wrong also ! So be carefully relying on this document.
Microbee Design Philosophy from the manual :-
The MICROBEE as supplied in kit form is intended to give
electronic enthusiasts the opportunity to build their own
computer and then enjoy the fruits of their work as they learn
to program it and make it work for them. We at Applied
Technology are also electronic enthusiasts and can see the real
need to make the MICROBEE available for this purpose. Our
approach is to support you in your efforts to make sure each
buyer of a MICROBEE kit succeeds in reaching this goal. Our
exclusive NO APOLOGIES coupon is intended to extend our support
should you have trouble completing your MICROBEE.
We also thank JustinB for making scans of a later version of the same manual available. Fig. 1 now correct and references the 1248 REV F mainboard. Now 31 pages long with a printed front cover and schematics included.
So, in the Microbee/Documentation/Manuals/Hardware folder we have placed
