Thanks to an ebay seller, Tony, for allowing me to visit and record his tapes he had on offer before before they were sold. So have been waiting for them to sell before releasing them here. All were original tapes, recorded at 44khz and saved as 16bit WAV files. All except one tape recorded perfectly with no filtering etc needed for them to load into a PC85 error free. Most had a copy protection LOADER file so they would not load via the Monitor, Basic only.
One tape had The Valley on Side A that had the Loader file while on Side B it has CAVE ADVENTURE that did not contain the Loader. Also, these 2 files were the only recordings that needed a small amount of manual fixing of the WAV file and some noise filtering.
I was also able to scan the cassette inserts and labels with my portable USB scanner. There were other tapes not recorded but had different inserts or labels compared to what we already had and some where we had the tape but not the insert or label or the other way around. A couple replaced existing files also. So these are all included here as well.
Also made available was an early Instruction sheet for The Valley and the Eye of Min Card that replaced the existing one in the Repository, as this one was complete. A 120 Day Warranty card was also complete and not filled out, so replaced our current copy.
The MWB or BEE file was also saved for some of the games and is included in the zip files.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee/Software/Tapes/Original folder we placed
adventure_in_3d.wav
baby_bouncer.wav
cave_adventure.wav
draughts_plus.wav
dungeons_of_khan.wav
eureka.wav
graphic_life_tool_kit.wav
killer_bees.wav
mania.wav
space_lanes.wav
tank_battle.wav
the_valley.wav
video_maze.wav
and in the Microbee/Documentation/Pictures/Tapes folder we placed
adventure_in_3d.jpg
baby_bouncer.jpg
battleships_t2.jpg
draughts_plus.jpg
eureka.jpg
graphic_life_toolkit.jpg
killer_bees.jpg
mania.jpg
minedrop_t2.jpg
shipwreck_island_goodison_t2.jpg
space_lanes.jpg
tank_battle.jpg
the_valley.jpg
video_maze.jpg
and in the Microbee/Documentation/Manuals/Games folder we placed
eye_of_min_card.pdf
the_valley_instructions_manual.pdf
and in the Microbee/Documentation/Articles folder we re-placed
120_day_warranty_card.pdf
