While we already have a huge collection of Text Adventures for the Microbee, you can never have enough. Many Text Adventures written for the Spectrum had been converted, using P.A.W.S. (Professional Adventure Writer System), to run under CP/M 2.2 or 3 on the Amstrad CPC models. For these to run correctly on the Microbee, all that was needed was to change the CLS (Clear the Screen) code to that required by the Microbee. This was easily done with a hex-editor.
Another group of Adventures written in GWBASIC were also found and rather than manually change to syntax to Microbee Basic, with little modification these can be compile with BASCOM to a COM file to run on the Microbee.
So 12 disks with 8 games each have been put together using a modified EASY MENU from Microbee (M.COM) for easy selection and all on an SS80 disks for compatibility with all Microbees running 3.5" drives. Also, on most of the disks a Walkthrough is included for many of the games to help if you get stuck in solving the adventures. Read the -readme.txt file on each disk for further information. As you can see below, many are in Parts and most will require that you finish Part 1 (saving to disk when you finish) before you can start Part 2, etc.
The disks have been placed in the Repository in the MbeeTech/Microbee/Software/Games/Adventure Games folder and each contain these adventures, happy adventuring :-
