Thanks to ejwords for making these 15 disks available to be imaged. All were standard Microbee 5.25" DS40 disks and all imaged 100% error free using a Floppyio unit. The disks were not copy protected.
These are all Starnet Auto Boot Disks version 1.01 and its menu system was written by Craig Southeren in 1986. These disks normally consist of 2 files only. For example, the Arcades Games 3 disk would contain ARCADE3.COM and ARCADE3.DAT. The COM file, written in Turbo Pascal, contains the Menu and Basic while the DAT file contains all the program files but in some unknown, possibly encrypted, format. These disks also contain the individual program files and while the MWB files run fine from Basic, the BEE files load and start addresses are unknown. These programs may have been updated to run on the Starnet but not having or knowing of a Starnet to test them on, that is not known.
So today in the Repository in the Software/Disks/Networks folder we placed
starnet_adventures_1_ds40.dsk
starnet_adventures_2_ds40.dsk
starnet_airtrack_ds40.dsk
