Firstly, welcome to the forum 
There are a couple Microbees on eBay at the moment so that should give you an idea of what they are worth, and check out the Completed ones as well. Microbee Technology is also missing a couple versions of bees so contact ejwords (Ewan) here.
The 512k upgrade was a common upgrade for many back in the day, it all depended on the RAM prices at the time if you did it or not. I personally have one also, a great unit.
As you can see we here are particularly interest in trying to archive everything Microbee and other Australian made vintage computers. So if we could borrow any software or documentation, be it tape, floppies or ROMs, for archive it, that would be awesome as we simple dont have it all unfortunately. Thanks.
