Great to hear you still have a DG680 S100 system but sad to hear your 8" drives are not working. I assume you have eliminated the Floppy Controller itself as the cause of them not working ?
While we have quite a bit of documentation in the Repository on your system, but sadly we do not have a working CP/M image for your system and when you do get an 8" drive working we would like to see what can be done to generate a disk image.
