Thanks for that.  Test a few Microbee some time back with an original 12v Microbee power pack, all it did was blow Tantalum caps near the voltage regulators.  I then switched to a 10v Toshiba laptop power pack and no blown caps and no probs powering older rom based bees nor premium 128k units with the small power filter cap.

I also use a 9.6v PS2 power pack again with no issues with older or newer bees.
