Hi from Germany - theVintage - 24-12-2025 Hi All, I joined from Germany today because I came across this forum that seems to have a wealth of information on the Exidy sourcerer system as well. A while back, I restored a daisywheel printer that Exidy sold as the DP6120 with the word processing system. I'm looking for information on this printer and particularly the jumper settings on the controller board to properly configure it. I run a blog on my retro projects also showing the printer: https://www.thevintagecomputer.de/tec-fp-1500-25-serial-printer/ Best regards Timo RE: Hi from Germany - ChickenMan - 24-12-2025 Hi Timo and welcome to the forum ![]() We have the Exidy brochure you linked in your blog but unfortunately we have no information directly about that printer. Another Exidy brochure from 1981 had it listed as - Daisy Wheel Printer DP 6120 25 cps, 136 (Pica Pitch) printable columns, bi-directional print capability with Word Processor ROM PAC and Precision Print Option DP 2004 and DP 7221/ DP 7272 (not included). 96 ASCII print characters, letter print quality up to 3 copies. Parallel Interface cable (DP 4003) not included. Full horizontal (1/120")/vertical (1/4S") proportional spacing capability. There is a local (Australian) forum dedicated to the Exidy that may be able to help - https://www.exidysorcerer.net/index.html/ RE: Hi from Germany - theVintage - 26-12-2025 (24-12-2025, 09:50 AM)ChickenMan Wrote: Many thanks for the pointer - I'll go and check it out |
