down the rabbit hole, seeking PathMinder - Graham72 - 08-09-2025

I saw a few references to a file manager converted from early msdos called PathMinder.

I have wasted far too much time trawling the web.

Anyway it's got a Sydney connection, a Hungarian guy Andor Kocsi lived in Australia circa 2000.

On his blog he shows v2.6.                I'm hoping someone may know if it is archived somewhere.

My google fu and grok have not helped me. I'm guessing if it has been archived it would be pm.cpm or pathmind.cpm.

An interesting aside, Andors' nickname was Arthur. So was mine in the mid '70's as I was very thin - like Arthur from Aunty Jack.

Long shot, but I'm guessing you've already tried the email and phone here?

On a slightly related topic, I got hold of someone associated with Brown Bag Software, makers of the old DOS "PowerMenu" and got the following response:

"I own the rights and source code for Powermenu.
The question is whether or not I can find it and what format it is in."

Unfortunately he, or his other contact no longer had the source code.

I'm not sure what connection bendor
has / had with Andor?
