usr in menu choices - Graham72 - 30-08-2025 Ok spent some time trying to understand the menu choice 4 'usr' Using search here spits the dummy as it is less than 4 letters. Can anyone point to which documentation I should look at to understand it. I am guessing it allows some kind of batch processing of commands. thanks in advance Graham RE: usr in menu choices - ChickenMan - 31-08-2025 Have a read of the 256tc_shell_reference_manual.pdf file in Documentation/Manuals/Software folder of the repository and move down to Page 3.22 (the 55th page ). Its fully described there with examples, etc. On your master disk you will see a file called 'USR.COM'. The word usr also appears beneath icon 4 (the small bee). Usr is a miniature version of the Shell. With Usr you can program up to nine commands which can be executed from the Shell with only two keystrokes. |
