MSPP Forum Web address change - MbeeTech - 18-11-2024

Hello All.

I know there are members of the Microbee Technology Forum that are also members of the microbee-mspp.org.au forum and I'd like to let you know of
a change of web address for the MSPP.

Due to auDA rulings about .org.au eligibility - making the use of .org.au quite complex and costly, there has been a need for the MSPP to move from
microbee-mspp.org.au to microbee-mspp.org (no '.au' on the end).

If you have bookmarks for the MSPP, please update them.

Currently the microbee-mspp.org.au web address still works, but it will only be for a limited time.
As of today microbee-mspp.org.au redirects automatically to microbee-mspp.org

It would be best to start accessing the MSPP at the microbee-mspp.org web address from today onwards.

The domain registrar has finally pulled the pin on the old microbee-mspp.org.au domain and it no longer works.

The link to the MSPP on the MBT home page might need updating as it's still pointing to the old adddress. Smile

It looks like most of the internal links to mspp threads older than Dec 24 are now broken

e.g.
https://microbee-mspp.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=3130&p=18697&hilit=mspp#p18697

I had a quick Look at the phpbb web site and the solution appears to be a SQL UPDATE statement.

I don't envy the MSPP admins

Tony

Yes, sorry, this is on the to-do list.
The whole website will be updated in the very near future anyway prior to the release of the new Microbee models.

The tidy up has been done so all the internal Forum links now point to the new domain.

Great stuff. Glad it's all working again now.
