Two new Microbee Sword Quest manuals - ChickenMan - 26-07-2024
From a recent purchase there were 2 different Microbee Sword Quest manuals which were both different from the one we already have in the Repository. One A4 and one A5 in size and both 8 pages long.
Sword Quest is just like the ‘Dungeons and
Dragons’ series. Select your characters
level of armour, weapons, strength and
skill. Explore in search of treasure and
the Great Sword, and battle with the
dungeon’s creatures.
sword_quest_early.pdf is A4 in size with a simple blue cover with game name and Microbee logo. The 4 pages of text were then used exactly the same in the A5 version (with a smaller font) but now with the normal graphical front cover as used on most of Microbee games manuals. Labelled as Catalogue No. 250.121
We have Sword Quest in the Repository as a Tape (WAV) file and as a disk on honeysoft_graphic_adventures_vol_1.dsk & sword_quest_plus_ds40.dsk
Also found on a Swedish site recently was a picture of the Swedish version of Sword Quest cassette as produced by Bergsala AB, the Microbee agents in Sweden.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee/Documentation/Manuals/Games folder we placed
