Text Formatting and Texted early Microbee Wordprocessors - ChickenMan - 04-10-2019 Thanks to the author of Text Formatter, Ralph Youie, for forwarding the latest versions to me a while back. The load and start addresses were different than those in the Manual, so the Manual was updated to reflect the current working versions. The manual is essential for using the programs on both the Microbee 16k and 32k rom based models. The 16k version will work on a disk based Microbee while the 32k version gets a "Program to long" error. Both *.BEE and *.WAV files are provided as well as the Basic sample file listed in the Manual. The other program, TEXTED, was found while imaging some of ejwords disks. Its a BASIC file, written by H B Proctor in 1983 and referred to as a Text Editor. From the Manual : THIS PROGRAM will help you to produce a well formatted document of word processor quality and appearance easily, and without having to spend time trying to come to grips with a complicated instruction set used by some of the higher powered (and much higher priced) packages. Both programs above are probably not of much use to anyone today, but are included here as a part of the early Microbee history of programs.
