More Exidy Sorcerer Tapes and some labels - ChickenMan - 08-03-2024
I stumbled upon an old TOSEC file at archive.org that contained a number of Sorcerer Tape WAV files. Many were of Australian origin and not in our Repository, so they were extracted, re-sampled, volume adjusted, etc and tested by loading into MAME. All were good except for one. Both the 300baud and 1200baud files are provided where possible and some 300baud files to compliment the 1200baud files we already have in the Repository. The 1200b files best used in the MAME emulator and the 300b files best used to load into a real Sorcerer.
A recent ebay UK auction had some Sorcerer tapes available with had some reasonable quality pics of them. So, they were extracted, straightened, etc with a couple replacing existing poor copies and a few new ones.
For those un-familiar with the Exidy Sorcerer, I have provided a quick rundown on how to use MAME emulator to load Basic and System files of both 300b and 1200b tapes so you can have a good play.
So in the Vintage Repository in the Exidy_Sorecerer\Software\Tapes folder we placed
