Kerwin Software titles - craigkerwin - 01-01-2024 Hey there fellow Microbee enthusiasts. Have so many fond memories of creating programs/software titles on the Microbee and always regret that I never kept my 256TC nor did I keep any of my application disks, when I got married 30 years ago and did the good old "merge and clean". So I'm hoping some of you good folk out there might have copies of my old software titles that have been converted to ROMs? I'm hunting for a Microebee 256TC or Premium 128K emulator while I wait to see if I can get my hands on a physical Microbee one of these days. So any help at all would be greatly appreciated. My email address is: craig.kerwin@gmail.com I teach at QUT in Brisbane and every time I get a new group of students they are intrigued about writing software "in the old days" so it would be great to show them. Thanks in advance. Craig RE: Kerwin Software titles - ChickenMan - 01-01-2024 Hi Craig and welcome to the forum ![]() I had contacted you some time back and you mentioned then that you had saved nothing Your software unfortunately is sadly missing from the archives, the only 2 titles I have been able to find are -The Mod From Evil Press Room 3 what we have missing is an extended list unfortunately, so can anyone else help out there ? Pete the Postie Dragon Lair Identikit The Quiz Show Logic Ants Skeletons Missing Dog Shell of Words Stampmaker Talk'n Face Weather Binkie the Droid Castaways Castle Adventure Maybe there were other titles, can you remember of any others ? We have the Manual for The Mob From Evil and scans of the 2 floppies labels it came on, one Master and one Pictures and a scan of the Press Room 3 disk label. The best emulator is ubee512 that emulates all the Microbee models including the 256TC, we have it in the Repository together with disk images of the 2 titles we have. There is a 256TC up for sale on ebay about once a year and over a $1000 working or not, so dont expect to see one soon. Premium 128k Microbees appear more regularly. RE: Kerwin Software titles - craigkerwin - 02-01-2024 Thank you so much. Yes I remember you being in contact. I am still annoyed with myself for "throwing out" all my old Microbee things - the things we do for love when we're young and don't have much room. Don't let me start on how I threw out my old vinyls collection. I'll have a play around with the emulator and I'll keep hunting for any of my old games. Believe me, I understand your pain :-( Guilty of the same... Only kept my Onlines. Stored them in a shed. Locked my dogs up in that shed (its a BIG shed). They got bored, and mistook eating for reading :-( Also, welcome to the forum :-) |
