Talking Electronics Notebook #2 & #5 second printings and #6 - ChickenMan - 28-11-2023
Thanks to Mysterex via archive.org for making this 2nd printing of Electronics Notebook 2 available. It was all cleaned up, pages resized to the same size and converted to a searchable PDF as normal. All are approx A4 in size and both #2 & #6 are 76 pages long with #5 just 68 pages.
This is Talking Electronics second printing of their Electronics Notebook 2 book, written by Colin Mitchell (some sections by Ken Stone) and released in 1994. It was missing its front cover, so I used the one from the first printing.
This book is a reprint of the 1984 edition and shows the material we
produced 10 years ago is still current. The only thing we have done is
increase the number of pages from 66 to 76 to include some extra
articles.
As you can see, publishing is a long-term venture as it has taken 5
years to sell the 20,000 copies we had printed. We have been out of
copies for nearly 5 years now, due to the high cost of printing but the
demand has forced us to reprint.
The current issue we have in the Repository is the first 1984 printing. The extra 7 sections included in this 2nd edition are -

Somewhere on the internet (sorry, forgotten where), found was the 2nd printing of Electronic Notebook 5, printed in 1995. Cover, Contents page, Index and back page now is a Dick Smith advert, these pages are different from the original printing which we have in the repository. Main content seams unchanged but extra corrections to Electronics Notebook 1 are included on the Index page.
Also found on the internet (sorry, forgotten where also) was Electronic Notebook 6 issue, currently missing from the repository. That now completes the Electronics Notebook collection. It was produced in 1994 and includes an Index of all 6 Electronic Notebook projects & articles. Its contents are -
