Early MUGWA member - Robert Hind - 07-10-2023

Hi,
I was an early member of MUGWA and a member of "The Sting" editorial team.

Hey Robert!
Welcome to the Forum. It's great to see you here. Do you still have any Microbees? If you have any Microbee Software, there's a lot of interest in preserving as much as we can.
ChickenMan uploaded the last few missing issues of The Sting if you are feeling nostalgic :-)

PS if you're in Perth still, there's a couple of Perth Microbee enthusiasts in the forums, including me.

Cheers!

John

Welcome to the forum, always good to hear from past Microbee User Group members.

We have a set of "The Sting" Newsletters that was completed recently and I read that you were Editor and finally Chairman in its early years. Latest & last editions added https://microbeetechnology.com.au/forum/thread-671.html

But do you still have your Microbee ?

(07-10-2023, 11:09 PM)Hi ChickenMan,Unfortunately I dont still have my Microbee.Yes I was a member of the editorilal team (there were at the time 3 of us) and Chairman for a period of time. I'll be forever grateful for that period of time. The Microbee was a great computer and there was a fantastic community of users. I learned so much then that has continued to serve me well.I've seen the the article in the thread but so far haven't actually been able to get to any of the issues of "The Sting". Am I missing something or doing something wrong?CheersRobert Wrote: Welcome to the forum, always good to hear from past Microbee User Group members.
