Microbee Missile Wars and Concentration Manuals - ChickenMan - 10-09-2023
From my recent purchase of Microbee material there was a Missile Wars Manual and Concentration Instructions. The manuals are A4 in size and 2 & 1 pages long respectively. Scanned at 600dpi and converted to a searchable PDFs as usual.
Missile Wars is a game written by Conal Walsh in 1982 for Microworld. From the manual -
The object of the game is to prevent the missiles
from reaching your cities and ammunition dumps.
The idea is to move the small cross (your aiming
device) to the oncoming edge of each missile in
turn and firing at it from one of your ammunition
dumps.
This is one of Microbees early games that came on tape only. Its in the Tape collection in the repository. We also have it on disk, see games_5_ds80.dsk.
Concentration was written by B Pratt in 1982 for Microworld. From the manual -
The game of Concentration is a memory game which
can be played by 0 to 4 players. The computer can
be one of the players, or both for a demonstration
game.
For a quick demonstration game, select O players,
and a difficulty of 9.
This is also one of Microbees early games that initially came on tape only. Its in the Tape collection in the repository. It was later released on disk honeysoft_family_games_vol_1.dsk. We also have it on games_7_ss80.dsk disk.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Documentation\Manuals\Games folder we placed
