Dick Smith game Depth Charge Tape for the System 80 - ChickenMan - 25-03-2023 Thanks to KimJohn for making this cassette tape available to be recorded and scanned. Recorded at 44.1kHz stereo and saved as a 16bit WAV file using Goldwave running on my Windows 11 PC. The Left and Right channels were then saved out as separate Mono WAV files. The Right channel looked the best and loaded into TRS32 emulator error free. I then wrote the WAV file to a tape which loaded error free into my System 80. Depth Charge was written in 1981 by Rick Maurice (he also wrote Turbo 2000 & others in following years) and © 1981 by Dick Smith Electronics, although it didn't appear in DSE Catalogue until the 83-84 issue - Depth Charge ....... $11.95 The latest version of the arcade favourite.
