Secad AS-68k Review in the Australian OS9 Newsletters - ChickenMan - 15-01-2023 Thanks to Bob Devries for writing up a good review of his SECAD AS-68k system presented in the Australian OS9 Newsletter, which is normally orientated to the Tandy CoCo. Thanks to archive.org for making these newsletters available. From one of the Australian OS9 newsletters about the Secad AS-68k: The CPU is a 68000, running at 10Mhz, with a 68450 DMAC (Direct Memory Access Controller), a 68681 DUART (Dual Universal Receiver Transmitter) for serial ports, and a 68B21 PIA (Peripheral Interface Adaptor) for the keyboard. The computer uses 'standard' IBM XT bus sockets, and a IBM keyboard. Standard IBM I/O cards are used for floppy disks, hard disks, and screen. So in the Vintage Repository in the Secad_AS-68k/Australian_OS9_Newsletters folder we placed australian_os9_newsletter_vol_8_no_1.pdf australian_os9_newsletter_vol_8_no_3.pdf australian_os9_newsletter_vol_8_no_6.pdf |
