Hi Microbee enthusiasts.
Could one verify the following?
As per the 1986 Microbee Technical Manual, someone is confused about some of its text from the behaviour of the BNET56 ROM.
- E039 OFFLOAD API: The manual appears have a typo ..."address help in HL".
- E039 OFFLOAD API: The number of bytes read are seemingly in whole disk sector size multiples. e.g. If one specifies 128 bytes to be read for a boot sector, a whole sector 512 bytes are read from a DSDD disk.
- E03C BLOCKWRITE API: The number of bytes written are seemingly in whole disk sector size multiples.
- E03F HST_RD: It's description is incorrect. - It's just READ DISK SECTOR. Refer to the original 1983 Microbee Disk System Manual for details.
Note: that for the BNET56 ROM, the HST_RD and HST_W can display inverse 'R' and 'W' status indicators.
