Mitac Power Supply - russelltaylor1967 - 18-09-2022 Hi group, Does anyone know if there's someone / somewhere to get a Mitac power supply repaired - someone I can send it to (I'm in Sydney)? I have a dead power supply. Checked the obvious - fuse, cap leakage/bulging (all good), even a dodgy power switch (which needed cleaning) - but still nothing. I've reviewed the schematics provided by John L (thank you), and now I'm at a loss. I've tried measuring across the output pins with a DMM, based on the board markings and the schematics, but I get 0V - regardless of what output voltage(s) I check. I don't think the Mitac supply is "intelligent" enough to need to see a load before outputting voltage (the 'paperclip' trick for more modern PSU) - but I could be wrong. I'm not too keen with messing about with 240V - so wondering if there's somewhere I could send it to for repair. Regards, Russell. |
