CardBox - The Electronic Card Index Disk & Manual for the Microbee - ChickenMan - 07-05-2022

Thanks to Amy for making this disk available to be imaged.  A standard Microbee 3.5" SS80 bootable disk that imaged error free.

CardBox was written by Business Simulations Ltd, originally in 1982, and marketed by Caxton for both CP/M and MS-DOS versions.

Cardbox is an electronic card-indexing system which is as easy to use as a conventional card index yet hundreds of times more powerful. Cardbox displays individual records on the screen in the form of 'cards' to your own design. Information is entered and retrieved in this format.

The program starts with this opening screen :

The program has already been setup for the Microbee so no need to run TERMDEF.  The search for a manual on the internet eventually proved positive, so it is included also.

So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Applications folder we placed

cardbox_master_ss80.dsk

cardbox_manual.pdf <-- in Documentation\Manuals\Software folder

UPDATE:
Thanks to elpiggio for pointing out a nice review of Cardbox the the "Best of CP/M Software" book by John D Halamka - 1984.  See his post here Cardbox Software & Manual for Microbee (microbeetechnology.com.au).  So I grabbed the 4 pages from archive.org and converted to a PDF. So also added

cardbox_review_1984.pdf <--- in the Microbee\Documentation\Articles folder
