Alternative Power Supplies - someone - 21-11-2019

For those wanting a new microbee power supply for a microbee one could considerĀ a Sony Playstation 2 power supply.
These are prolific and cheap.
They are rated at 8.5VDC @ 5.65A.

Good tip.
Thanks Someone.

We do have original Microbee power plug packs in the store. There are plenty of these in stock, but one thing we have trouble with sourcing these days is the moulded
5 pin din lead to suit. The last batch we got in had a problem in that the diameter of the 5 pin plug end is slightly too big to fit in the hole in the Microbee case properly.
They still work, but it means you have to open up the case a little to get the plug to seat in the socket correctly. They are perfect for the 256TC of course.
