Hello Ewan and all. - greg221b - 05-11-2019 Hello Ewan and all, This is a nice forum to see. ![]() My name's Greg - I have new Microbee #105 from 2013 (just recently assembled - thanks Ewan), and one of the 256TCs from last year. I had a couple of Microbees in the eighties and always wanted to do more assembly programming - which I hope to find time to do soon. Thanks, Greg RE: Hello Ewan and all. - ChickenMan - 11-11-2019 Welcome to the forum. I have Microbee #106 from 2013, does that make us cousins Tell us more about the 256TC-SE unit though as there were only 5 produced.
RE: Hello Ewan and all. - greg221b - 18-11-2019 Thanks ChickenMan. ![]() I haven't had much time to get to know the 256TC since I got it - the screen resolutions are a bit tricky, ie I have to keep my HDMI comverter open to keep the whole screen on the screen. Apart from that I'm still trying to get my head around the different modes, eg different menus, CP/M, using emulated floppy drives etc - perhaps over Xmas I'll have time to dive in.
RE: Hello Ewan and all. - ChickenMan - 18-11-2019 Yes Xmas is a good time for playing with things. I think you will find the PP+ is similar to the 256TC-SE in functionality. Any questions just ask in the appropriate Forum. The Honeysoft disks in the Games and Education Repository marked as t4 (Type 4) will all work on the 256TC as well as the PP+. Any marked t1 to t3 will only work on your PP+. RE: Hello Ewan and all. - greg221b - 20-11-2019 Thanks ChickenMan, I'd love to have a look through the repository at some stage. Is that up and running at the moment? Greg RE: Hello Ewan and all. - ChickenMan - 20-11-2019 Hi Greg, yes it is, you should have received an email from Ewan when you filled out the MTFR form at https://microbeetechnology.com.au/MTFR_Access/MTFR_Access.htm If you havent, then do so and expect an email soon after
RE: Hello Ewan and all. - greg221b - 20-11-2019 Thanks ChickenMan. I didn't receieve anything after the first submit, have submitted again, fingers are crossed.
RE: Hello Ewan and all. - MbeeTech - 20-11-2019 Hi Greg. Your access was approved the first time you sent the request. It seems that the approval email that gets sent through the repository is not going out, or is getting lost somehow. I've sent you an email with your access details. RE: Hello Ewan and all. - someone - 20-11-2019 Welcome aboard Greg! Enjoy the forum. |
