EDCOM PCB ARTWORK - someone - 20-12-2020

Be aware that the newly published EDCOM PCB artwork is not the PCB for the original prototype but that for the first production layout.
The original prototype PCB consisted of a single PCB that contained all elements including memory but excluding the keyboard matrix which was was attached via a DIP16 socket and mating DIP header.

It's interesting how the PCB developed from 1 PCB to 2 PCBs back to 1 PCB.

"The original prototype PCB consisted of a single PCB that contained all elements including memory but excluding the keyboard matrix "

That reminds me of the Super-80 design that Dick Smith produce just before the Microbee was launched.
