Microbee Chess and Chess Tutor disk - ChickenMan - 06-04-2020

Thanks to kimjohn for making this original disk available to be imaged.  A standard 5.25" 40tr non-bootable Microbee disk with file copy protection.

This was another disk that was not able to be imaged initially without physically cleaning the disk as per previous posts. For easier use, copy your system to the disk to make it bootable, else just run from B: drive.

Chess would have to be one of the most popular board games for decades and is very well presented here.  We have the manuals for both, so that can help with actually running the programs.  Both highly recommended.

This copy protected disk has 2 files, CHESSTUT.COM which is 66kb in size and it loads Basic with the file when run.  Same as MBCHESS.COM being 54kb in size and also loads Basic when run.  Each file has one track on the disk that has sectors numbered 0 to 9 rather than 1 to 10, which makes trying to simply copy the files off the disk very difficult.

So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Games folder we placed

chess_and_chess_tutor_ds40.dsk
