Three Manuals from "Know Ware", Bushrangers, Explorers & Solar System Databases - ChickenMan - 15-03-2020
Thanks to jeremybh1 for making scans of these 3 manuals available. All cleaned up and converted to searchable PDFs. All A4 in size and 105, 133 and 142 pages long respectively.
Know Ware Pty Ltd only provided 3 programs for the Microbee, The Bushrangers Database, The Explorers Database and The Solar System Database. These 3 were also made for the Apple IIe and MS-DOS. These manuals are for the Apple 2 but also for the Microbee and all written by Allan House.
The Bushrangers Database is the first of a series of Australian
History databases from Know Ware Pty. Limited. It is a closed database
intended for use in upper primary schools, secondary schools and libraries.
It can be used by individual students or small groups or as a research tool
by teachers.
The Explorers Database covers the exploration of Australia by land and by sea from
1536 to 1900. Information on the period up to 1770 is recorded in general files and that
after 1770 in both files and the database.
The Solar System Database is a package on the solar system, astronomy,
space exploration and manned flight.
Unfortunately we do NOT have the actual programs for the Microbee, these Manuals only. So if anyone can help there, that would be fabulous, thanks.
