It was when I convinced my father to buy a second hand Microbee 32 IC i got into programming, Basic, a little Forth and Z80.... The nostalgia of the old days in the late 1980 will always follow me.... In the 80's I was the treasurer of the high school computer club - and it focused on Microbee's (Starnet with 64k workstations) I had started to learn Pascal, Fortran and Cobol in my own time - and quickly became fascinated by being able to make calls to the CP/M operating system - and wrote my own very basic CP/M utilities. The community here are very friendly and helpful - although a little quiet from time to time. |
