The MSPP repository, as chickenman has replied above, is separate and controlled by the admins there. They are free to keep it running and do whatever they want with it, as long as the content that is Copyright Microbee Technology is looked after correctly. I have no plans to remove their distribution license for the Microbee Technology content. There is duplication in content, but there is also the ability to be different and offer content sourced from other places to keep the member base coming back. Hopefully it will be a good thing for the community to have 2 repositories. RE: Repository Access - MbeeTech - 11-12-2019 (10-12-2019, 02:34 PM)greybeard Wrote: Hi EwanHi Rod. Thanks for your thoughts. I will be reviewing the terms and conditions, as I have time, to clear up a few items that have been brought to my attention. The terms and conditions as they are at the moment were written fairly quickly to get ready for both sites (forum & repository) being made live. I'll post again when I've had a chance to review & make the changes. Regards, RE: Repository Access - Robert - 13-01-2020 I wonder how you are going with this. I'd like to have repository access, but I do not wish to disclose my personal details, and I don't see why it's necessary to provide them. After all, the MSPP does not require these details - why should you? What are you going to do with the information? I don't see a privacy statement here. https://legal123.com.au/how-to-guide/privacy-policy-australia/ RE: Repository Access - MbeeTech - 24-02-2020 Hi All, There is now a second option for getting access to files in the repository. If you don't want, or need access to the files that require signing an End User Agreement (Microbee Technology Intellectual property), then you can request access to the rest of the files (publicly available information) by clicking on the following link : http://www.microbeetechnology.com.au/MTFR_Access/MTFR_Access_NonEUA.htm An account will be set up for you in the repository which will give you log in access for the non-restricted areas. RE: Repository Access - greybeard - 26-02-2020 Nice update Ewan but unfortunately it still doesn't address the significant issues with your original EUA. Not only are the terms repetitive I don't see that they are remotely enforceable. If you ever try to enforce them you'll be laughed out of court with legal costs of appropriate size awarded against you. Please seek some legal assistance and/or take a reality check on with what you are asking. The best protection for IP is to make a new one bigger, better and sooner than anyone else. In this instance software for a nearly forty year old computer is not going to be top of the list for industrial espionage. RE: Repository Access - Robert - 28-02-2020 That new link requires first and last name, which is personal information, and which by Australian law requires a privacy statement. You should only need my forum login name - nothing more. I'll wait another couple of months for an improvement. RE: Repository Access - MbeeTech - 21-05-2020 Hi All. Just a quick note to say that some requests for access to the repository had been missed because the email from the forms was being filtered by the email server spam scanner. Apologies for this. Hopefully the issue has been fixed now (the mail scanner trained to see those emails as valid email, and the low spam score trigger lifted a couple of notches ). I've process the ones I found in the logs, so if you are still waiting on access, please PM me. Also, we are getting a professionally written privacy policy underway, and a review of the repository access forms. RE: Repository Access - douges - 14-01-2022 Hi Ewan, I submitted my request to have access to the repository but I haven't received an e-mail yet. Did you see it come through. Thanks Dougall RE: Repository Access - MbeeTech - 17-01-2022 (14-01-2022, 06:48 PM)douges Wrote: Hi Ewan, Hi Dougall.
